The family and I are heading out for the first of several Christmas weekend trips planned in the month of December. We're getting ready to visit some relatives in Columbus, Ohio - hoping to find some used CD stores!

In the meantime, here is a full list of items I've shared over the first two weeks of the 2006 downloading season either here or over at FaLaLaLaLa - please check your scorecards!

CLM Industries - Christmas 1961 - SINGLE

Jimmy Dean - Christmas Card

Pete Fountain - "Candy Clarinet": Merry Christmas From (STEREO)

Will Glahe & His Orchestra - Christmas Greetings From Germany

Ken Griffin - Christmas Organ

Liberace - 1954 Christmas Greetings Flexi

Bobby Vinton - Christmas Promo 45

Happy downloading... be careful on those roads!

Captain, thanks a ton for all the great music. This is my first year finding all you guys - Ernie, Falalalala, etc. and I'm in heaven with all the fantastic music. I know it takes a bit to put all this up so much appreciated.

Just wanted to leave a note about one of my favorite used CD stores in all the world in Dayton, Ohio - Gem City Records (http://www.gemcityrecords.com/). I went to school in Dayton, worked at Gem City, and still ended up owning them money because they had such great stuff. I mostly did used CDs, although they do have a good collectin of LPs. Dayton is about an hour and a half away from Columbus, but it will be totally worth it.

By the way, my favorite used CD store is all the world is CD Source in Dallas, Texas. I cannot begin to tell you the number of incredible CDs that I've found there.

Thanks again for the music!! It's wonderful!

You have some serious stuff here! Christmas over the years. I always thought that the new christmas songs were worse every year, but this goes to prove me wrong. They have always been awful!

:o(

Merry Christmas

Ernie - In the royal court, the King of Jingaling is still the King. You sir are Prince Ernest, heir to the royal throne. I am merely a Captain who offers some and keeps the books.

Charlie - Thanks for the kind words and I spent a good 15 minutes over at your fun Christmas web site! Nice work!

BBurney - Thank you for the compliments and along with yourself and another visitor to the yuleblog, you've inspired me for today's first post! Read on...
